First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Russell Reynolds.
Senior Executive Assistant
The interview process was well organized and moved quickly. While I did receive a better offer elsewhere, the company seemed like a great place to work. However, it looked like work-life balance might be a challenge. I'd suggest it for someone just starting out or for those who thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
- Can you describe your organizational skills?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Executive Assistant
It was a quick interview process. I had two interviews, one with the office manager and another with an EA, each lasting about an hour. The interviews weren't hard at all, and they asked pretty straightforward questions.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Executive Assistant
First, I had to do an assessment. Then, I was interviewed by the HR/Office Manager. After that, on a different day, I was interviewed by the current EA who was moving on. On a third, separate day, I had final interviews with the two directors who needed support. I felt good about all the stages. After the final interviews, they showed me around the office and introduced me to everyone, pointing out where I'd sit if I got the job. This usually means good news, but I never heard back, even after asking for feedback a few times... it was a strange situation.
- How do you handle stressful and fast-paced settings?
- What's your approach to dealing with difficult candidates and consultants?
- Describe how you would manage your day from morning to evening.
