I interviewed at Russell Reynolds in 2021. First I spoke with a recruiter, then I had initial interviews with the office manager and a couple of project coordinators, all over Zoom. The office manager gave a full overview of the role and expectations. The project coordinators I spoke to were helpful and clear on the day to day realities and demands of the position. One interview was sort of off-putting though. The PC was drinking wine and being the "bad cop," asking how I would deal with situations X Y Z, which set off alarms. I'm not sure if she was trying to scare me off or was drunk, but it was inappropriate.

It was a super fast interview process with 3 stages. The interviews were conducted on Teams and I met with different staff members. It felt more like a casual chat than a formal interview. They asked about my background and what I could contribute.

Horrible experience. It felt like too many stages for this role. The consultants interviewing me seemed to psychoanalyze me, which felt attacking. The whole process was extremely long-winded and the work culture seemed very toxic.
