I was contacted by an HR rep who stayed my main contact. The interview had two main parts: a phone call and an in-person meeting. The in-person interview was with two systems managers who were really cool to talk to. They asked pretty standard questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'how comfortable are you talking to strangers on the phone,' and 'how do you manage juggling multiple projects.' The phone interview was more of a casual chat with the department manager. He seemed to be in a hurry and didn't ask anything too in-depth. The in-person interview did ask one question that caught me off guard: 'If your car wouldn't start, what will you do?' They were apparently more interested in my thought process than a right answer.

I knew someone at the company, so I chatted with a recruiter first. They asked some really basic stuff like why I was interested in Russell and finance, and to talk about my resume. It was pretty chill. Then I got an email with internship descriptions, and I told the recruiter which ones I liked. I went back the next week for the actual interview. It wasn't technical or behavioral at all; it was all about data analysis since that's a big part of the job. They said I'd hear back in about two weeks, so I'm waiting on an offer.
