Implementation Manager
This was one of the best interview processes I've experienced. The Rundoo team was very welcoming and transparent from the start, showing they really care about their hires. The process was structured and made sense at each step. I talked with the CEO, a product leader, and members of the implementation team. These chats gave me a clear picture of the company culture and the day-to-day role. A highlight was a role-play where I conducted a mock kickoff and training, which was a great chance to show my skills and get a feel for the work. It felt more like working together than being tested. Even after accepting the offer, many people from the CEO down reached out to welcome me, which speaks volumes about the culture and how they make you feel part of the team even before you start. My advice is to be prepared, be yourself, and show your thought process. Rundoo seeks curious, organized people who are dedicated to their clients.
- Could you describe your approach to conducting a kickoff call with a new client?
Implementation Manager
The recruiter had a list of questions and I felt rushed, like she was just running through a checklist. It was not conversational in the slightest and she couldn’t answer my questions. It’s also concerning that they want to hire a handful of Implementation Managers for projected growth. In my experience, that’s a recipe for a future layoff when the company doesn’t perform as well as they thought they would.
- Can you tell me about your project management experience?
Implementation Manager
My interview experience was identical to the previous review. The recruiter was slouched on a couch with a shaking laptop. They typed notes the whole time and didn't engage in conversation, making me feel rushed to answer quickly for them to type. I suggested recording interviews for note-taking so they could actually listen. It felt like I was talking to a wall and not being heard. I got an immediate rejection email a few hours later.
