I applied online and a connection of mine helped me get noticed, and I was contacted almost right away for a phone screening. It was a really chill and easy process thanks to the awesome woman I spoke with. The questions were tough but fair, helping them see what kind of employee I am. She called exactly at 10:00 am on Thursday morning as scheduled. She made me feel super comfortable and confident, making the interview enjoyable.

I was emailed by a recruiter who was flexible with interview times, but never got back to me with answers to my questions. On interview day, the recruiter gave me a folder with benefits info and the day's plan. I interviewed with the buyer, associate buyer, and another assistant buyer. They asked standard questions and were detailed about the role. The interview felt like a conversation about my experience, very laid back, but I felt they weren't fully listening and might have already decided. I haven't heard back in two weeks, so I assume I didn't get the job. The last interviewer said I'd hear back early the next week, which was a mistake since they didn't plan to call, leaving me waiting. As a former manager, I always believe in professionally contacting candidates to inform them of their status.

The interview was pretty chill overall. I started with a recruiter who gave me more details about the role and then I moved on to the next stage. After that, I had a second interview with the hiring manager and a team member.
