The interview was super quick, easy, and straightforward. There were two interviews: one with a Shift Leader and another with the general manager. It all happened right there at the restaurant. Sometimes you might get both interviews done on the same day, but more often than not, they'll have you come back a few days later. Each interview has about 10 questions.

Applied for a Shift Lead role that was posted on Indeed for $22/hour, then applied on the Rubio's corporate website. Got texted by the store manager to set up an interview, which I did. Aced the interview, but then got ghosted for a week. The store manager said the District manager was handling internal hiring paperwork. Got ghosted for a second week. Then I noticed a new Shift Lead job posting for $16/hour at the same address. Got an offer letter for $16/hour even though all previous communications stated $22/hour. I gave the manager one chance to fix the "mistake" by asking them to correct the starting wage on the offer. I texted the manager a screenshot of the $22/hour job posting to call them out on their lies since they claimed "$22 per hour is the California wage." I politely rescinded my application via text, stating I value my integrity and won't work for disrespectful employers, preferring to find a job with managers who treat me with basic respect. I then wrote a review on Glassdoor because it's required to view salary reviews.

I only finished one of the two part interview. The first one was over the phone, and I am going to my second interview tomorrow and meeting with the GM.
