General Manager
It was a really long interview process, I had to meet with five different people over five separate occasions and locations. Honestly, it felt like more interviews than were really necessary, and most of them asked pretty much the same things. Out of all the hiring processes I've been through, this was by far the longest.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
- Can you provide an example of a past situation you encountered?
- What would you do in a hypothetical scenario?
General Manager
Just walk in, drop off your application, and ask to speak with the manager. We want to see your personality shine! We really value reliability here at Rubios and are looking for folks who bring good energy and a polished attitude. You can expect questions that put you in different work situations and also some about your past jobs. Make sure you get here on time and are ready to chat about yourself. It's also a good idea to have some questions ready for us and to check out our website beforehand.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What is your previous work experience?
- Can you describe a past work scenario?
General Manager
I was first contacted via email, and then had a phone interview with the Head Recruiter. Due to grad school, the Head Recruiter offered me a Shift Leader position instead. My second interview was supposed to be with the General Manager at the restaurant, but they weren't there, so the Assistant Manager interviewed me. I had a third interview at the same location with the General Manager, which was similar to the second one. I was supposed to get a test emailed to me, but it took weeks. After finishing the online assessment, I waited for a call.
- What motivates you to work here?
- How would you handle a customer's food complaint?
