There were three rounds of interviews, but I ended up having four because they didn't realize I'd already completed the first round, so I technically had an extra interview.

I applied on the Rubin Brown website. My first interview was at the Kansas City Office, which is part of a St. Louis-based CPA firm. An Audit Manager interviewed me, and before that, another HR employee gave me a company benefits overview. The interviewer asked about my leadership skills and technical knowledge of the Audit process. A week later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job.

The interview was conducted via Skype and lasted about an hour. It felt thorough yet efficient. The recruiter was really helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. I spoke with one partner and three managers. It was a good mix, with questions covering tax topics as well as personal get-to-know-you questions.
