The interview process was very efficient and went smoothly. I had the chance to meet with the main leaders on the team, which helped me get a clear picture of the role's expectations, the company's business plans and objectives, and the overall culture. They were quick to move forward and reached a decision about my next steps in a reasonable amount of time.

The interview process was really long and kinda all over the place. I talked to a recruiter, then the manager, then the VP of events, and even the founder. After the last interview, I never heard back, which was a bummer because it felt like a waste of time to go through so many interviews without even a basic email to explain why I didn't get the job. When I brought up diversity at the company, the interviewer's response basically signaled they don't consider that when hiring. The questions they asked felt super repetitive, like they were asking the same things in every interview.

I applied online and then an Executive Director reached out saying I seemed like a good fit. He wanted to set up a phone screen with a Managing Partner/Co-Founder. The phone screen was a few days later and mostly a resume walk-through, with her trying to figure out if my marketing background was a fit for the role. She then scheduled a Zoom interview with herself and the Executive Director for the next day. That interview was mainly a review of my experiences and some behavioral questions. The managing partner seemed disengaged, but the Executive Director was warm and engaged. I was told I'd get feedback the next day. The Executive Director called as promised and offered me the role, saying it was competitive but I stood out. He mentioned he and the managing partner were split on my background (sales vs. marketing). I told him I had another interview process ending early the next week and asked for an extra day to decide. He said that was fine but mentioned they were 3 for 3 with other candidates accepting. He said the offer letter would be sent, and we'd touch base early next week. However, the offer letter never came, and after I followed up, there was no response, even with the start date approaching. It was very unprofessional, especially after a verbal offer.

This was the worst interview process ever. I had 5 interviews with 5 different people, and they all asked the same questions. It was super repetitive and a total waste of time. I applied for an entry-level position, but they said I was being considered for a more senior role. The first 4 rounds were great, but the final round was with the co-founder. From the start, I could tell she didn't like me. She seemed really uninterested. I even asked about her hesitations, and she said none, saying I'd excel (even though her tone and face said otherwise). Right after, I got rejected. Such a waste of time.
