Intern
So I had this interview, right? The person called exactly when they said they would for the phone interview. We chatted about my resume, what the job entails, what kind of projects I might work on, and just generally about the vibe of the workplace and the company itself. It was about half an hour. They said I'd hear back in a week, but nope, nothing. I followed up after two weeks, and then another week later, they finally got back to me saying they'd gone with someone else.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- What are the requirements for this role?
- What kind of projects could I be working on?
Intern
So there were five interviews in total. First, a 30-minute phone chat where we talked about my background, resume, and some behavioral stuff. They also told me about the company, asked why I was interested in this kind of work, and how I could use my past experiences. Then, I got one written case question that I had 24 hours to complete and send back. It was basically about describing my thought process on a case they'd dealt with before. After that, there were 3 separate 30-minute on-site interviews with different team members, from junior to senior folks. These were mostly behavioral, but also included some situational questions and even a quick case question.
- If a client needed to find a more environmentally friendly alternative for a chemical they currently buy, what steps would you take to find and confirm the quality of a replacement?
Intern
It was an on-campus internship recruitment drive. The process included 3 stages: CV shortlisting, a Personal Interview, and a Group Discussion. Before that, there was a short introductory talk about the company. The personal interview focused on the CV, so I had to be ready to discuss everything mentioned in it confidently. The group discussion involved three topics.
- Could you introduce yourself and describe your characteristics?
