First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RSM.
Technology Consultant
I first talked to McGladrey at my school's career fair. Then, I had an interview on campus with someone who worked there full-time but wasn't in HR. It felt pretty casual, and they asked me behavioral questions, like asking me to rank things on a scale from 1 to 5.
- Can you rate a specific quality on a scale of 1 to 5?
- Could you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
Technology Risk Consultant
It was a 2-round interview process. Both rounds were focused on behavioral questions and your past experience. The first round was with a manager who asked about the skills you've used in your previous jobs. The second round was with a partner and focused on behavioral and cultural fit. It wasn't too challenging and was very conversational. The manager and partner were really nice and talked a lot about the company culture.
- Can you describe your previous experience?
- Tell me about your past experience and the skills you used.
- How would you fit into the company culture?
Technology Consultant
I applied for this job through a university posting and they reached out to me for an interview on campus. It was all behavioral. Later, I was invited for another interview at their Boston office. The people there were great, and the C-suite gave us a quick intro to the company, and then a leader showed us around. The interviews were also behavioral, and one question about my past work really surprised me. It was a good interview process overall.
- Can you answer some basic technology questions, like those for technical roles?
