Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RSM.
Audit Senior Associate
I interviewed with 2 partners, one from HR and a senior manager. The process was alright, they really tested my technical knowledge. They asked a lot about FRS116, FRS115, and FRS9.
- Can you tell me about your audit experience?
- What is your experience in audit?
- Could you share your audit experiences?
Assurance Intern
The interview process was super easy and quick. It consisted of two 30-minute interviews back-to-back, one with a senior person and another with a partner. They seemed really interested in learning about my life outside of school, like my hobbies, club activities, part-time jobs, and family stuff. No technical questions were asked.
- What is your motivation for joining RSM?
- What are your reasons for pursuing accounting or assurance?
Auditor
The interview process had 3 rounds. The first was an aptitude test, which was easy to moderate. The second was a group discussion (GD) that was easy. The third round was an interview that was moderate, though it could depend on the interviewer. My interviewer took about 1.5 hours, which was the longest of all the candidates.
- Tell me about yourself
- What is your family background?
- Can you explain these journal entries?
