Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RSA Security.
Sales Operations
I applied online, and a recruiter reached out via email to schedule a phone interview. They sent a list of questions to answer beforehand. I replied with my availability and the answers. The recruiter confirmed a time, but when that time arrived, they never called, and I waited 20 minutes. I felt this was really unprofessional and a waste of my time, so I decided not to follow up and to look for opportunities elsewhere.
- What are your salary expectations?
Sales
I had a few phone interviews with managers and people who currently work in the role. Then I flew out to Boston for the final interview, which was with the manager, someone from inside sales, and the VP. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the recruiter and the VP, so I decided not to accept the offer. To make things worse, they haven't paid me back for my travel expenses, even though they said they would and I had them approved. It was a pretty bad experience all around.
- Can you share what your highest W2 income was?
Inside Sales Representative
I had an initial phone interview, and then they invited me for an in-person interview. The in-person part lasted about 2 hours. During that time, I did a presentation and then had separate interviews with people from the sales team and management.
