First, there was a quick chat with HR to go over my background, what I'm looking for salary-wise, and what the job is all about. Then, I had to do a take-home coding challenge that I had 48 hours to complete. They were super serious about TDD, so getting good test coverage was way more important than just finishing the coding part. After that, it was an hour-long online interview where we really dug into Java, SpringBoot, SQL, and the Java 8 Stream API, including some coding.

Had 2 rounds, first a technical one that lasted an hour, then a managerial chat for 30-40 mins. Both interviews felt easy, but getting the offer letter was quite a hassle. The interviewers were really nice people. Ended up being rejected without a clear reason why.

Got a call from HR for a recruitment call, and we set up a technical interview for the next day. It was a face-to-face interview with one technical person who asked all sorts of questions about core Java, spring, hibernate, and databases. HR let me know the result the same day the first round finished. A week later, the second round, a face-to-face technical and managerial interview, was scheduled with two senior folks. Right after that interview, HR told me I got selected. Then, HR discussion was set up for the day after.
