Applied online and was contacted quickly. First interview was with employees who seemed to cover multiple roles, and there were many other interviewees. The interview went well, and I was told the role involved event planning, content creation, digital marketing, and project planning, with potential to market for a large wireless company in Philadelphia. However, I later learned much of this was untrue. For the second interview, they had moved offices and didn't mention it. I was given a clipboard and then waited an hour. The marketing coordinator took me to a street corner with two new interns who had a table and suitcase. We stood in the rain for 3 hours handing out 'Obamaphones.' The interviewer frequently interrupted, lost his train of thought, and made us try to write answers to questions while standing on the corner. We were supposed to go to lunch to discuss 'corporate structure,' which is a pyramid scheme. We went to a sandwich place where we all paid for our own food. The interviewer continued asking questions and took my food when it arrived before his. He claimed this was just 'philanthropy' and there was more to the job, but promotion required hiring people and signing up 40 people for Obamaphones. It felt like a joke and a waste of time, not a serious career opportunity.

The whole process lasted about a week. I had three rounds of interviews. The first one was an in-person interview after I received an email. I met a really nice and professional lady. Then, for the second interview, I job shadowed the top marketing associate. The last round was conducted over the phone.

The interview process was quite unusual. There's a secretary whose main role appears to be checking in candidates, and a steady stream of people arrived for interviews, making me wonder about the high volume of applicants. The interview itself was surprisingly brief.
