The hiring process is wild. Everyone you talk to is super upbeat and nice, but don't let that fool you. There are 2 interviews. The first is a quick 20-minute chat, pretty standard. The second one, they want you to actually see their 'events' in action. They don't mention dressing for the weather or needing cash for transit and lunch. You shadow someone who's been there maybe 9-10 months max. While walking or on the train, they're grilling you with interview questions (which is actually illegal). On top of that, they take you to a rough part of Philly and then to sketchy neighborhoods to set up their event. Even while they're pitching to customers, they're still asking you questions. Then they take you to lunch, which you have to pay for, and then they just leave you to figure out how to get home.

The first interview was pretty much just a screener. I got called back for a second interview but I didn't end up going because they told me I'd have to do a few months of unpaid training before the job. It felt really sketchy and they didn't give much info about what I'd actually be doing day-to-day.

I really enjoyed the interview process, it was a bit different but in a good way. I felt like I met some great people from the company and they were all super welcoming. The vibe was really positive.
