First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Royal Cyber Inc..
Senior Java Developer
There were 3 rounds in total, which was good. I passed all of them. The HR round went well and we agreed on the salary. Company people asked for my documents, but after that, they stopped responding to my calls and emails. If budget was an issue, they shouldn't have asked for my documents. This was a negative experience, so we need to be careful about this company.
- Could you explain Java OOOPS concepts?
- How does a Hash map work?
- Can you complete this Java coding test?
Java Developer
It was a pretty straightforward interview with just three main rounds. They started with a written test, then a group discussion or debate, followed by a technical interview, and finally an HR chat. They're looking for clear communication and fundamental technical knowledge. However, the whole process can take a while. Sometimes they might end the interview after the technical round, but the results often get delayed. Some candidates might hear back quickly, while others, even after being told their interview went well and they'd be contacted in a couple of days, don't get a callback.
- Can you tell me about the basics of Java?
- What are the core concepts in Java?
- What do you know about MySQL basics?
Java Developer
The interview process wasn't too challenging, likely because I was a recent graduate. They focused on conceptual questions without going into deep detail. The technical questions lasted about 30-40 minutes, followed by an HR interview roughly an hour later. I received a job offer shortly after the HR interview.
- Can you explain what dependency injection is?
- How would you implement the Singleton pattern?
- What are abstraction and encapsulation?
