The conversation mainly focused on dinner duties, including specific questions about the courses and their names. She also asked about my experience on the first night and how I approached introducing myself to guests.

I had a face-to-face and an online interview. There was also a medical checkup and visa processing. Before the interview, there was onboard training, and I interviewed with a recruiter and a cruise representative who visited Mauritius. I also received training in culinary skills and in the hotel before the interview. I had the opportunity to train and work with great chefs like Chef Jean Marie Barrate.
