Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Royal Caribbean Group.
Senior Manager
Got a call about six weeks after I applied. First, I spoke with HR, and then I had an in-person interview with four people. A couple of weeks later, I came back and met with six more people.
- Describe how you would approach solving this problem.
Manager
RC recruiter contacted me about a month after I applied, but for a different role. I had a great chat with the recruiter, then another great one with the Hiring Manager. The HM mentioned I'd meet teammates for a final round. It felt like a great fit because my industry experience is very similar. But then, no word for weeks, until an automated rejection email arrived. I wanted to know why, but got no feedback even after emailing the recruiter.
- Could you introduce yourself.
Technology Manager
It was a 4 layer process including a group leader, one of the group leader's peers, a team subordinate, and a recruiter screening. They were quick to arrange interviews with everyone involved. All interviews were conducted via MS Teams. The interviewers mostly asked standard generic questions and allowed me to ask my own questions.
- Could you describe in detail a highly successful achievement of yours that aligns with the responsibilities outlined in the job description?
