Equity Research Intern
You apply and then get an interview, followed by an assessment center. It has 3 rounds. There's a group AC, an individual interview, and then a case study. The interview itself isn't hard, but being put on the spot can be challenging.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this position?
Investment Analyst
Submitted my online application. Then I had an assessment. After that, I interviewed with two analysts for 30 minutes each, which included a Paper LBO. Next, I had a 72-hour case study on the LBO of a public company. Then, I interviewed with a VP about the mechanics of my model. Finally, I interviewed with an MD.
- Can you describe a deal you were involved in and provide an analysis?
- What is the impact of a gift card on financial statements?
- How does the cost of equity vary with the level of leverage?
Investment Analyst
Applied online and got a call from HR two weeks later. They discussed the role and my career motivations. An interview with the department directors was scheduled for the following week.
