After that, you might meet the department manager or the person who would be your direct supervisor. This chat is mainly about how your skills and experience fit with what the team and company need. It's also a chance to go over the job's responsibilities, the projects you'd be on, and what's expected of you. Some companies have interviews with several team members, either in a group or panel setting. This lets you meet your potential coworkers and see how the team works together. They're also checking to see how you'd fit in with the current team.

I was referred by a hiring agency and had an initial interview with Rotech's HR, which went really well. Then, I had to wait a month for an interview with the hiring manager. I rearranged my schedule and even my vacation plans (I was overseas) to make it. But, they never showed up for the scheduled interview! Four days later, the agency told me they weren't moving forward. This company has really low ratings, and now I totally get why. The entire experience was super negative and unprofessional. The position has been open since November 2022...

So, I went through 5 interviews for this role, kicking off in October and wrapping up in January. They ended up not hiring me, which felt like a huge time sink, as they took ages to give me a final answer. While some delays were understandable, the whole process dragged on for months. It seems like they're having profit issues, maybe because they micromanage their local branches, but that's just a guess from my interview experience.

Applied Online. Then HR called for a Phone Interview. After 2 Weeks, I had a Face to Face Interview with the Location Center Manager. I was called back for a 2nd Face to Face Interview with the Regional and Area Manager. A week later, I went in for a Final Interview with another LCM and Area Manager. A week after that, I got the offer. I accepted the offer the next day and was given a starting date. However, the very next day after accepting, I was told that the LCM and Area Manager I interviewed with resigned, and my position would be on hold until further notice. 3 Weeks later, I got a call and was able to start with a new Regional Manager and a fill-in LCM.
