Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rotary.
Secretary
It was a short and easy interview, a friendly chat really. The questions were pretty standard for an interview, focusing on finding candidates who are enthusiastic about assisting people.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Administrative Assistant
I was contacted by a really nice lady from HR via email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was about 20 minutes long. She then set up a second meeting with me to meet the HR personnel. A week later, they asked me to pick the best days and times for the interview. The questions were based on my resume, and they didn't share any job information.
- What salary do you expect?
Administrative
The whole process took about three months. I first applied for a job and had a phone interview followed by two in-person interviews. Although I didn't get that job, some interviewers liked me and suggested me for a different role, which I took. Most questions were about skills and experience related to what the job required.
- Can you share an instance where you assisted in maintaining team organization?
