Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ROSS.
Sales Associate
They asked if I had prior work experience, and since I didn't, the interview was pretty straightforward. They wanted to know my availability and how I'd handle a situation with an upset customer.
- What are your available working days and times?
- How would you deal with an angry customer?
Sales Associate
I had a group interview and dressing professional was helpful. It's a good idea to do some research. They didn't require any experience, and I got the offer a few hours after accepting it. I never saw the other people I interviewed with while I was working there, so I don't know if they got hired or took another offer.
- Why do you want to work here?
Sales Associate
It was a short, basic interview process, nothing out of the ordinary for an entry-level position. They mainly asked about my motivation for wanting the role and what experience or skills I could offer, even though none of the skills were strictly required.
- How do you interact with customers?
