The interview process was pretty easy. They inquired about my past work history, specifically how recently I had been employed by them and how long I had worked there. They also asked about my potential start date. Following that, they sent an email to initiate the background check.

The manager asked some questions, discussed the company, and went over the role I was interviewing for. Since it was right before the holidays, they were mostly looking for cashiers. She mentioned that I could be assigned to store protection, stocking, or working in the fitting room for any shift. I said that would be fine. They offered me the job right after the interview, which lasted about 15-20 minutes.

The interview was terrible. They asked about my hobbies and complained about my business casual outfit, looking me up and down to see if I 'looked the part.' It was strange because outfit complaints became a daily thing once I started working there. The interviewer called the first interview a 'get to know you' session and mentioned a more formal second interview would follow (though, honestly, this is Ross, so maybe not?). However, that second interview never materialized. The interview was on Friday, and training started the very next day, Saturday.
