Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ropers Majeski.
Associate
I spoke with two partners for the first round, and then a panel of other attorneys for the second round. It was a friendly interview environment. They asked the usual questions you get at most interviews, with no surprises or curve balls.
- What makes you interested in this firm?
- What is your interest in litigation?
Associate
It was a two-round interview process. First, I had a screening interview with a partner, and then I met with four attorneys for the callback interviews. The questions were generally pretty basic and not too difficult. The attorneys mainly wanted to understand my background, experience, and practice areas.
- Can you describe your typical day?
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What are your practice areas like?
Associate
All interviews were virtual and held in the New York office. It was a standard process where you'll meet several attorneys. No surprises. They just want to get a feel for who you are.
- What draws you to the legal field
