I spoke with two partners for the first round, and then a panel of other attorneys for the second round. It was a friendly interview environment. They asked the usual questions you get at most interviews, with no surprises or curve balls.

I had a phone call with someone on the marketing team for the first interview. It was pretty easy with simple questions. Then a week later, I had a virtual interview with a more senior person on the team. It was a really nice, conversational chat. The whole process was great and I felt like I had a good shot. They both said they really liked me and would let me know within the next week. They also mentioned they wanted to hire soon and to be ready. A week passed and I heard nothing. I followed up with an email and was told to wait because they were still interviewing people but would get back to me. I was still hopeful! It's been over 3 weeks now and I've heard nothing. They totally wasted my time and ghosted me. They could have at least sent an update instead of making me wait around for a month. It's ridiculous.

I got an invite to interview about 2 weeks after applying. The interview was scheduled for the next week. Setting it up was easy but did take a bit. Two partners were on the virtual call with me. They asked some typical interview questions. About 30 minutes of the 45 total minutes was used for my questions and their questions.

I met with the Executive Director first, then had a second interview with other administrative staff and senior attorneys. Everyone I spoke with was nice and seemed really into the idea of me working there. I left feeling pretty good about the possibility of joining the firm.
