Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rolls-Royce Power Systems.
Intern
I had a single virtual interview that lasted about 30 minutes with two people from the company. It was pretty laid-back and mostly served to provide information, with a few behavioral questions thrown in. It was considered easy.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
Intern
The hiring manager was nice and the process was smooth. HR was responsive and accommodating with scheduling, but I didn't get the role because other candidates were a better fit.
- What is your motivation for seeking this position?
Intern
I sent in my application online. After that, I got an email saying I had an on-site interview and to schedule it. We had a little confusion about the specific role I was applying for, but the HR recruiter was really nice and understanding about it.
- Could you tell me about the experiences listed on your resume?
- What are your expectations for this role?
