The interview process was pretty simple: First, there was an analytical test that lasted 1.5 hours, it was hard to finish all questions but still easier than Big3. Second, there were 2 interviews with consultants where no actual case studies were used, but rather some guesstimates and 'how would you do' questions plus some questions testing business logic. Lastly, there was an interview with a partner which was more of a fit interview, no technical questions asked.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

My interview at Roland Berger was very structured. It started with a friendly greeting and some small talk to help me relax. Then, the interviewer introduced the company and explained the responsibilities of the position. After that, it was my turn to present my resume, qualifications, and why I'm interested in the job. They asked me about my past experiences, strengths, and weaknesses. I particularly enjoyed the situational questions where I had to explain how I'd act in certain work situations. Finally, I got to ask my own questions about the team and their work methods. They also explained the next steps in the hiring process and when I could expect to hear back.

Case Behavioral

The interview process involved typical case interviews, and I'd say the difficulty was average compared to other top consulting firms. The questions covered all the usual consulting skills. The final interview was quite heavy on personal questions though. It's a good idea to be up-to-date on current economic events. They really test your passion for the firm, so you need to be able to argue convincingly why you want this specific firm over others.
