after an initial screening, I was invited to take an online analytical test. After passing the test, I was contacted for a first video conference interview. The conversation started with questions about my background, my motivations, and my interest in Roland Berger, then continued with a case interview. The interview was structured, demanding and required good analytical, structuring and communication skills.

I went through four virtual interviews in total. It was a personality/fit interview, two case interviews, and then a final partner interview. The whole process was really well organized and structured. I was impressed by how prepared the interviewers were; they clearly knew my academic and professional background. The interviews felt more like conversations with people on your level rather than formal tests. Everyone was nice, professional, and understanding, and they gave good advice during the case discussions. This made it easy to show my strengths and what I want to do.

Third interview was with Partner Chantal Jäger. It started with a quick intro of me and her, then we moved on to a case interview. The overall experience was quite bad due to interruptions and a cold atmosphere. From the beginning of the case, I felt like she didn't want me to succeed.
