So the whole thing took like 12 hours total and stretched out over 2 months. First, there was a quick 10 min take home test with some basic OOP and variable scope stuff. Then a 30 min HR chat that was super standard. After that, a 1.5 hour technical phone interview where I had to share my screen and do coding problems. Then another take-home assignment that took me about 5 hours. Next up was a 1 hour on-site tour which also included an IQ test with some weird questions. Finally, a 2 hour on-site interview to go over the take-home project. In the end, they just emailed saying they went with someone else, no feedback at all. If you don't want to waste your time, honestly, look somewhere else. I wouldn't have minded the long process if I got feedback to learn from, but spending ~12 hours for pretty much nothing was a bummer.

Technical Behavioral Coding

Very straight-forward and extensive interview process. First, a screening test to make sure you know the absolute basics of computer programming. Then, a phone interview that's entirely behavioral. After that, an on-site tour along with a problem-solving test. Next up is a technical interview with standard data structures based questions. Finally, a main on-site interview that's mainly behavioral, focusing on your prior roles and projects. The process is rather long, but the recruiter is incredibly quick to respond, and you'll never spend more than a few days waiting for a follow-up. Everyone involved was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in learning about you.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out via email to schedule a phone interview. After that, she arranged for me to complete some assessments at their Orlando office. These included tracing Java code, what felt like an IQ test, and a grammar and spelling test. The IQ test was quite intense and seemed like a lot for the role. The testing took about 2 hours, not including travel. The person I met onsite wasn't very friendly. The office was quiet, and I didn't meet anyone else. I was told the recruiter would contact me afterwards. A couple of days later, the recruiter emailed to say I wasn't offered the position.
