First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ROI Revolution.
Digital Marketing Analyst
I first got a call from Laura, the recruiter. We had a quick phone chat about my background and career goals. She then set up an in-person interview with herself and two hiring managers from different departments. This interview went deeper into my work history and technical skills. We talked about my ideal work setting, teamwork, career wins and hurdles, and some personal interests. It was a chill, informative chat, more like a conversation than an interrogation, and I learned a lot about the job. After that, I had a quick final meeting with HR to get any remaining questions answered. Laura called me soon after with a job offer! They were super fast with communication, which was great since I was juggling my current job.
- Would you rather work with others or by yourself?
- Tell me about something you are most proud of in your current work.
- What reports and optimizations are you analyzing on your current campaign?
Paid Social Manager
Recruiter reached out on Linkedin for a screening call, then later said they weren't moving forward. A couple weeks after, she reached out again for another screening because they changed how they were evaluating the position. This led to a second interview with a Director, Associate Director, and the HR person. They then invited me to the office and flew me to NC for an office tour and a panel interview with the same three people plus a HR VP. I also met with another Talent person on the second day. Everyone was friendly, and I felt the interviews went well. I didn't get an offer, and when I asked for feedback, they stated a no-feedback policy.
- Can you present a Paid Social strategy within 30 minutes?
Paid Media Specialist
This was my fourth, first round interview with ROI. All first round interviews are with talent acquisition/HR over the phone, which is great for people on the job hunt, to not waste too much time. After this many first run interviews, I was sure that they were finally going to let me through. I got my second round interview scheduled, and the day before they canceled it due to “evolving priorities, team dynamics, and the broader candidate pool.” When I asked for feedback, they said they will not provide specific feedback to candidates. It was such a dehumanizing experience. Every time I interview with ROI talent/ hr, I find it to be extremely unhelpful.
- What digital platforms have you worked with?
