Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rogers Enterprises.
Sales Associate
So I had my first interview with the store manager, who was really nice and welcoming. After that, I had a second interview with the district manager. It took forever to set up, and then he was super late. That interview was awful, he was really aggressive and rude. It felt like an interrogation, and I was so upset afterwards I cried in the bathroom. I didn't even want the job anymore by then.
- Could you tell me about your past sales experience and how your performance was evaluated?
Sales Associate
It was pretty quick, but if you've worked in retail before, the questions are pretty standard. They also asked about my sales goals and my experience with them. I was asked to sell a product to the manager. I met with the general manager of the store and the district manager. Both interviews were brief, friendly, and welcoming.
- Tell me about your sales goals.
- What's your retail experience?
- What duties have you performed in retail?
Sales Associate
When you go for an interview for Rogers & Hollands, you should dress well. They will expect you to wear a suit (dress pants, a nice shirt, and a jacket). Be outgoing during the interview; they are primarily looking for personality (Are you good with new people? Can you sell?) because the job involves selling your personality and the jewelry to the customer.
- If you didn't have to worry about money or time, what would your dream job be?
