The interview process was pretty straightforward and laid-back. I got in touch with the HR rep directly while I was still in college. A professor and a former classmate had referred me. Although I didn't land the job I initially applied for, the HR rep kept my information for future openings. That's when he reached out about an internship in the fashion department. We started with a phone interview, and then I met the department's SVP in person. Soon after, I got the call offering me the internship. After interning for about a month, I was hired full-time as a Showroom Coordinator.

I first saw a LinkedIn post from HR about an open position on the Digital Entertainment Team and reached out. We had a call where I learned more about the role and shared my PR background. Then, I was invited to interview with the EVP of the team. I briefly chatted with HR again before meeting the EVP for about 30 minutes. After that, I met two VPs separately for 30 minutes each. They asked me to follow up the next week. The following week, I had a second interview. I met with the HR rep, the EVP, and one of the VPs again. After each of those meetings, I met two more team members. The vibe was really relaxed, more like a chat than an interview, which was nice. I didn't feel stressed or rushed answering questions. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. I got offered the job that same week.

I was really excited at first, submitted my resume and got called for a phone interview the same day. It went downhill from there. The HR rep kept saying my resume had "red flags" and was pretty rude asking me why I didn’t have this or that. It was for an entry level position only asking a Bachelors, and if you want more, you should write that in the job description. It ended badly with him saying “follow up with me in two weeks.” Gee, thanks? Overall, it was really unprofessional and makes me wonder why he asked me for an interview if he disliked my resume from the beginning.

HR reached out to schedule a phone interview where they discussed the role and my experience. Then, an in-person interview was set up. I met with HR and the brand integration team. They explained the job duties and asked about my background and career aspirations. I got a job offer about a week later. It was a pretty simple process and the team made me feel at ease.
