Project Manager
The interviews themselves were fine. Easier than most. The recruiter was not good. They never asked for my availability, confirmed if interview dates / times worked for me, or tell me who I was meeting with / what the topic was. They sent calendar invites for interviews that went to my junk mail.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Project Manager
It was a 2-round process. First was a basic HR chat, and they told me I'd be moving on. Then, the hiring manager asked me standard PM questions, like why I wanted to join their company and my thoughts on Project Management. The manager seemed pretty old-fashioned and grumpy, saying his style was micromanagement. Honestly, I wouldn't have taken the job anyway.
- What motivates you to join this company?
- What are your thoughts on Project Management?
Project Manager
I went through about 3 to 4 interviews for this position. The first was with the Lead Program Manager, who assessed my project management skills. Then I interviewed with the Director for a technical and soft skills assessment. Finally, I had an HR interview, which was mainly for verification and basic HR questions. After these interviews, I was selected.
- What is your approach to planning projects?
- How do you determine priorities?
