Insights Manager
The interview was a zoom call, which lasted about 20 minutes. I felt like the HR could have asked more questions about my background or the job profile. It seemed like the interviewer wasn't very interested in the call. I haven't heard back from the HR since. Even if they're not moving forward, it would be better to give the candidate a yes/no for closure.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Can you tell me a bit about your background?
Manager
The HR screening and the phone interview with the hiring manager went great. Then, when I got to the office, things changed. Overall, people were nice, but one interviewer was really intense and just grilled me with questions. She didn't even introduce herself or give me a chance to ask anything, and I'm not even sure what her role was in relation to mine. Honestly, even if they had offered me the job, I would've turned it down because I wouldn't want to work with that type of person. Another thing that was a red flag was that most employees seem to come from different industries and the company has a very high turnover rate.
- Questions that were not difficult
Senior Manager
First, a talent recruiter talked to me about my background and if I was a good fit. I also got to ask them questions about the company.
- How would you handle this scenario?
