Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. First interview went well, and I was told I'd move to the second round. The second round took a long time to schedule, but it happened. Then, there was weeks of silence. I followed up with the interviewers, but got nothing. After more than three weeks, I was told I didn't get the job. It's weird they'd recruit me just to treat me poorly after interviewing.

R+F really relies on their recruiters for hiring. After I applied, an HR specialist from the department reached out to schedule a first phone call. We spoke for about 30 minutes, it was pretty basic but nice, and I learned about her experience there. She then quickly set up another interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had a third call with another team member to get more details about the job. I was then invited for an in-person interview a week later. This interview involved five separate meetings with five different team members and a 20-minute job-related assessment. The interviews were punctual, informative, and really boosted my confidence in the brand and team. The whole on-site part took almost 4 hours, plus the 1.5 hours of phone calls beforehand. I think they mainly look for people who fit the culture, understand and value the business, and are willing to work hard. I really appreciated how responsive the recruiter was, keeping me updated and making me feel well taken care of throughout. I'm excited to share that I accepted an offer and will be joining the R+F team!

I was contacted for a phone screen after applying. We scheduled it for Friday afternoon, but the time passed with no contact. I waited, then reached out, and the recruiter claimed the call was double-booked, which was strange since she suggested the time. She apologized but didn't seem sincere. We rescheduled for Monday morning. On Monday, she canceled, saying she was sick and would follow up the next day. She did email the next day, asking if I could talk later that day, which I couldn't. We finally had the call a week after the original scheduled time. I received a rejection email a week after that. The recruiter was unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

The interview process started all good with a telephonic round and an onsite interview. Cleared all rounds and then there was final round scheduled with the VP of IT. 2 days later the interview was canceled citing VP's availability and was told will be rescheduled. That was the last I've heard from them. Tried emailing to get an update, but no response. Even if the HR comes backs and tell me that they have found another person, atleast I would have understood (even though I was told I got through all the rounds of interview). But there is dead silence. How difficult it is to keep the candidate updated !?! especially when I spent (rather wasted) so much time in the telephonic and onsite interviews.
