Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ROCS Grad Staffing.
Recruiter
It's mainly about getting to know you and seeing if you're a good culture fit. You'll meet several team members, which might seem daunting, but everyone's friendly and they really just want to get to know you. Small details really count (like bringing your resume, being on time, your outfit, and following up, etc.).
- What makes you want to work at ROCS?
Recruiter
It was a 2-stage interview process. First, I had a phone interview. Then, I went in for an in-person interview and was offered a second one. I met with the founders and various team members to get a feel for the job and the work environment. The second interview involved shadowing and trying out calls. It also included the usual interview stuff, discussing what the growth process would look like.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Recruiter
First, there was an initial phone interview with one of the co-founders that lasted about 15-30 minutes. This was followed by a casual and conversational interview with the co-founders and another recruiter/account manager. This interview took around 45 minutes per person and they asked very similar questions, just with different personalities. It was a casual environment, but you need to dress business professional and don't show up late; they have a one-minute policy where you will be turned away and asked to reschedule if you are late.
- Can you tell me why you chose to apply for this position?
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
