Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rockwell Group.
Designer
I waited 20 minutes for the interviewer to show up. She didn't apologize when she arrived. She looked at my portfolio and asked me several questions about my experience. She looked me up and down several times.
- Did you know about the company before you came?
Interior Designer
The hiring process was really quick. Having an internal referral made a big difference compared to just submitting my resume and portfolio online. I had one interview with two interior designers and got an offer the very next day.
- Can you present your portfolio to us?
- What motivates you to join Rockwell?
- Tell us about your preferred Rockwell project and the reasons behind your choice.
Senior Designer
First I had a chat with HR about my general qualifications. Then, about two weeks later, I met with the Studio Leader and the Design Director of one of the studios and we talked about my portfolio of recent work.
- Can you describe your role on the project?
