First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rockwell Group.
Senior Interior Designer
Interviewed with two people who mainly looked over my portfolio. They asked detailed questions about the tools and skills I used and how I used them. They mentioned they work without hierarchy, so a senior designer would need to handle everything from A to Z.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you walk us through your portfolio, detailing the tools and skills employed?
- Regarding your projects, what specific tools and skills did you utilize and how?
Designer
I waited 20 minutes for the interviewer to show up. She didn't apologize when she arrived. She looked at my portfolio and asked me several questions about my experience. She looked me up and down several times.
- Did you know about the company before you came?
Wealth Management
The interview process is straightforward: there's a test and an interview. They probably don't even check the test. Make sure to dress in business formal attire and bring a printed copy of your CV. The work itself tends to be monotonous with limited learning opportunities.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
Design Strategist
So I applied and then heard back from Rockwell in about a month. The whole thing had 3 rounds. First two were on zoom, and the last one was in person. Each interview was around 30 mins.
- What brought you to Rockwell?
- Could you take me through your portfolio?
- Are you more of a strategist or a maker?
