The whole hiring thing took about 2 months from when I applied until I got the offer. It was quite a few steps: first, a chat with HR, then an online coding test. After that, I had virtual onsite interviews, which lasted about 4 hours in total. There were 5 different interviews covering coding (web programming and algorithms), technical knowledge/system design, behavioral stuff and team fit, and finally an interview with the hiring manager. They also threw in a psychometric test at some point.

I had an interview with HR, then a code test on TestDome. After that, there were technical interviews with live-coding on algorithms and then webdev. Next, I had a technical interview with the Tech Lead, followed by a "team fit" interview. Then, an interview with the Hiring Manager, and later, online tests for cognition and personality. The process concluded with a technical interview with the VP of Engineering, and finally, an offer.

My experience was very nice, it was a pleasure to get to know a little more about the company, exchange an idea with Samuel Prieto, a guy who was attentive and motivating throughout the conversation. Rocket is a company that evaluates its candidates with logic tests and practical algorithms, really a company that values the candidate's time and evaluates in the best possible way.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • They asked me about my hobbies, my carrier and my goals as a developer.
  • After that, i was requested to solve 3 questions with coding, to solve some logical problems and algorithms.
