It took me just under 4 weeks to complete everything, mostly due to my schedule. They were really quick with communication and super flexible with setting up times. The process had four main steps. First, a casual chat about the company, the tech stack, my background, and what I was looking for, plus a quick little task to see what I could do. Then, a pretty fun 3-hour take-home test on HackerRank, which was moderately challenging and had some specific rules about data structures. After that, I had a mix of on-site and virtual interviews with engineers and a manager, four in total. Finally, we went over the contract stuff like salary and bonuses. I really liked how friendly the whole thing felt. They answered all my questions fast, no real negotiation needed, and I got the impression they genuinely appreciate their engineers.

The whole thing took about two weeks. First, there were two phone interviews where we talked about my experience, some "what would you do" scenarios, and a bit of casual chat to see if I'd fit in. The recruiters called and emailed a bunch throughout. Then came a 3-hour on-site interview, which was pretty packed. I thought I'd meet 4 or 5 people, but it ended up being more. Each session was 30 minutes, with interviewers or pairs of them. Some were technical, some procedural, and some just wanted to chat. After that, I had another phone interview. The recruiters kept in touch and did a decent job setting expectations.

A colleague sent my resume for a job I found interesting. HR emailed to set up a phone screen, but I ended up speaking with the hiring manager. After that went well, they invited me for an afternoon interview to meet four people. That was four weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything since. I followed up with HR after two weeks, but still no response. It's unprofessional to not even get a reply, especially since they didn't list a salary range or ask about my current compensation, which could mean they wasted people's time on a role with unsuitable pay. Despite liking everyone I met and finding the role a good fit, it was a disappointing experience.

I applied online and heard back from them within a few days. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter. After that, there was another phone chat, then a writing task, and finally, I went in to meet the five people I'd be working with. The whole thing was pretty straightforward and moved fast. The recruiter kept me updated the whole time. The interviews were pretty standard, mainly checking if I could do the job and if I'd be a good fit for the company vibe. Honestly, it was a really good experience – everything happened on time, everyone was super positive and welcoming, and it felt relaxed but still professional, which definitely helped calm my nerves.
