Behavioral Technical

After passing the assessment, I had two interviews in the first round, one behavioral and one technical. The behavioral interview had typical questions, and the technical interview was a whiteboarding session that was a little more complex. The interviewer was very nice but I felt that they didn't understand what I was saying a lot of the time.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

It was interesting! It started with some assessments in the form of Roblox games. If you pass those, you move on to a portfolio review. After that, you chat with the recruiter and move on to the last stage, which consists of a design challenge, a behavioral, and a scenario assessment done on the Roblox platform. Everyone I met throughout the process was so kind, understanding, and responsive and I really enjoyed learning more about their experiences throughout our conversations! Also, they sent resources to help you throughout the process, so you can tell they care and want you to succeed :)

The interview process was pretty standard, apart from not having a whiteboard challenge. It started with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager call. After that, there was a portfolio review with the design team. The final stage was a half-day virtual onsite, which included another portfolio review, followed by one-on-one meetings with designers, product managers, and engineers. The team was really welcoming and empathetic, even though it got challenging at one point. Design leadership is strong here, and designers' work is recognized with career growth and competitive pay. The company is doing very well financially. A recruiter helped with interview prep, and mine was super responsive. One area for improvement would be to set expectations for each interview session upfront, although I did get my questions answered after asking. Interviewers were sometimes late, and it would be good to break down the schedule for each session. During the offer stage, the team was very accommodating and open to answering questions that other companies might not.
