This whole thing took months and was really disorganized. First, there was a half-hour panel interview, then another half-panel a week later. They didn't give much feedback. The final panel interview was super long, 2.5 hours, with about 5 different people. They said they'd have a decision the next week, but I got a weird rejection email saying they liked me but it wasn't the right fit and to contact them in the new year for new roles. When I did, they said they'd reach out when a fit came along. I finally contacted the main person, and we talked about company restructuring. She said they liked me and saw me as an asset. She contacted me a few weeks later for another department's role. After another 2.5-hour interview, she told me AGAIN it wasn't the right fit and asked if I'd be open to them reaching out when something else came up. I agreed but later realized they were just stringing me along, which was disrespectful. I told her I'd lost faith and was withdrawing my application. Be careful applying here; they seem unsure of what they want.

The interview process was smooth and well-structured. It was a pleasure interacting with the panel. It was especially a joy to meet with Kevin, Gagan and Amit. Meghna, my recruiter, was especially helpful and made the experience comfortable by clearly addressing any questions I had.

I was referred by someone who works here, so maybe the official way is smoother. The hiring manager emailed me, and we set up a 30-minute call. They cancelled a few times before we finally connected. It went okay, and they said they'd be in touch about next steps that week. I didn't hear anything, but the person who referred me said the hiring manager would email the next day. This kept happening, and I followed up by email a couple of times. Finally, after a few weeks, Roblox asked me to come in for a 2-hour interview with four people, including the hiring manager. The interviews went well, and they said I'd hear back within the week. Again, no word. The hiring manager sent a quick email to let me know I didn't get the job. The reason given was that I was 'too ambitious.' The whole thing took about 8 weeks.
