I got contacted by HR after submitting my CV. First, there was a 30-minute interview with an HR team member, mostly focused on my background and enthusiasm for recruiting/sales. I found out the result and next steps afterward. The following round was a 3-hour session with department managers, where I spoke with each for 20 minutes. It was also about passion, and they didn't expect professional knowledge as I was a new grad. I heard back in a few days and was told two managers who liked me wanted me to move forward. But I had already accepted another offer, so I ended my interview process there.

They first asked for my availability for the next week. When I provided it, they said they were swamped and would contact me again the following Friday. On Thursday, I received an email stating an interview was scheduled for Friday. After making last-minute arrangements with my supervisor and getting approval for time off, I confirmed my availability. Within minutes, another email arrived canceling the interview because all positions were filled. I was shocked they booked and canceled an interview within the hour. When they offered to reschedule in a few months, I inquired about assurances against last-minute cancellations, but never received a response. This was extremely unprofessional!

I emailed my CV to the talent manager in Japan because I wanted to work there. A week later, she emailed back and wanted to do a Skype Call. The interview went pretty well and she was friendly. However, she mentioned that since they hired a lot of foreigners last year and my Japanese wasn't good enough, it might be hard to get another interview. Even so, she sent my resume and interview notes to the directors. The next day, she let me know they wouldn't interview me because I lacked sales experience and my Japanese was too basic. She was very nice though and said I could stay in touch.
