Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Robert Half.
Consultant
I saw the job posting and applied. Later, I got an email asking for my resume again and some times that worked for an interview. The first step was a quick call to schedule an online video interview with the recruiter. She asked typical industry questions about my background and resume. I also got to ask my own questions, which I always like to do. She was nice and professional. After that, she told me the timeline.

Senior Consultant
The hiring process was quite fast, wrapping up in about a week. The interviewers were friendly and understanding. Just be yourself and use the STAR method for your answers, and you should do great. I feel their approach is pretty thorough, especially if you have skills that would benefit their clients.

Consultant
Robert Half reached out to me about an internal Consultant job after I applied on my own, asking if I was interested. Then, I had an on-site interview. It was with two people from the company, and included a quick test of my analytical and sales abilities (details below) plus the usual questions about my resume. After that, I was invited back for a second interview with my recruiter and the location director. However, the director was in a long meeting, so a department head talked to me instead. It was more questions about my resume and why I wanted the job and what I expected. After the second interview, I had to do an online personality test. I didn't get asked for a third interview.
