Account Manager
First, there was a phone call where I was asked if I mind performance pressure and if I know what to expect. Then, I had a face-to-face interview which I found very pleasant, but they didn't ask for much information; the focus seemed to be on a subsequent trial work day. This trial day was supposed to give me an idea of the next (at least) 6 months - exclusively cold calling B2B over the phone. Since I'm a beginner with no prior experience and the only instruction was how to use the headset, the fun was over pretty quickly. There was hardly any feedback during the trial work as the supervising employee had to take calls himself. After three hours (end of the trial work), I was accused of lacking enthusiasm for cold calling, and the rejection came the next day.

Account Manager
They called me in, and the 1st phone screening sounded intriguing. Then I went to meet the manager in Bloomington, MN. Then they asked me to go to MPLS, MN for another interview, and then to Minnetonka, MN for another. They then asked me to go into the Minnetonka office for a 'shadow' experience and final interview. There was a phone screening for each new office! About 2 weeks after shadowing, they called to say they'd contact me again in 2 weeks for a final decision and a 2nd final interview. I lost interest after talking with contacts who say turnover is extremely high due to micromanagement, poor treatment, and unattainable goals.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
Senior Account Manager
It was a good interview. The hiring managers are very nice and they are just trying to find out more about the candidate. First I Skype called with the hiring manager, then they brought me into the office, and lastly the brought me into the office for s final time to shadow some employees on the floor.
- Can you describe your ideal job?
