So, first there was this Amcat test that covered basic electronics stuff. Then, I had a technical interview where they asked about my final year project and my favorite subject, which I said was embedded systems. They hit me with some basic embedded systems questions and then some easy coding problems. I'm not the best coder, so I stumbled a bit but managed to scrape through to the HR interview. The HR person was really nice and asked super basic questions. At the very end, it looked like I was going to get the job, but unfortunately, I didn't get selected. It was an easy interview overall, just didn't work out.

I got interviewed on campus for this role. The whole recruitment process started with an aptitude test, which was pretty basic and done online about 20 days before the actual interviews. Then, the interview day itself was a single day event, featuring a one-on-one technical interview. Even though my background is in Electronics, a big part of the interview focused on engines, their parts, and how they make a vehicle move. The interviewer was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in hearing my thoughts.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you describe your proficiency in C programming?
  • Could you code the logic for controlling a light, fan, and AC in a room, given certain conditions?
  • Please introduce yourself.
