A recruiter reached out to me unexpectedly, I never even applied. They were vague about my questions but focused on their business model and team success. The office is in a residential area with just a cardboard sign. I waited in a rundown space with others, filling out a basic questionnaire. The receptionist was scheduling more people and playing loud music to cover up the interviews happening nearby. This place, Riverpoint Management, is a sales scam disguised as marketing. They hire in bulk for minimum wage, no benefits, calling it a career. The job involves selling products at Costco/Sam's Club, gathering feedback, then building a sales team to climb the ladder. It seems like a pyramid scheme where you can become the 'president' after moving up.

I was reached out to after submitting my resume for an event assistant role and was invited for an initial interview at their office. This first interview was quite short, and I was told that if they called me back, it meant the hiring manager wanted a second interview. I did get a call from the receptionist to schedule the second interview, which took place at one of their retail locations. The second interview went really well, and the interviewer was clear about the job's responsibilities. At the event, I was enthusiastic about the opportunity and was informed that another call would mean a third interview. There were three interviews in total, spanning a week, with the final one being over the phone. It seemed straightforward, but I never heard back after the third round, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job.

The first interview was brief, just to go over my resume and answer a few questions. I really enjoyed the second round because I got to see one of their events and shadow someone. It was cool to see all of the marketing techniques and consumer psychology they use that you don't realize going through college. I was also really interested in the growth they offer, especially coming right out of college. It was a positive experience and everyone was helpful throughout the process.

I applied online through a recruiting company and was called in for an interview pretty quickly. The hiring manager explained the position pretty thoroughly - was pretty direct about what they do (direct marketing). Afterwards, we had a pretty basic get to know you sort of interview. Overall, it was a very easy process and the hiring manager was quite upfront about the position.
