Assistant Store Manager
I found the Assistant Store Manager job on Indeed and applied. After about a week, I called the store, and the manager gave me the number for the area office. The receptionist there said she'd call me back because the HR manager was out of town. I called again a week later, and she said the same thing. Finally, she called to schedule an interview. I met with a District Manager, and it was a really relaxed conversation. He didn't ask a lot of specific questions; he seemed impressed with my ability to interview well and connect with people from the start. He was keen to hire me and said he'd call back in a few days. On the third day, I was invited back to meet with him again and was offered a Shift Supervisor role. Apparently, another Assistant Store Manager applicant was up for the same job, so they got it. The entire process took about 3 to 4 weeks.

Store Manager
The process was good to begin with. The in person interview went well and interviewer was friendly and professional. The second part of the interview was in a conference room on the phone with a HR manager. It was not as professional as the first half of the interview. It seemed as though the HR manager was either distracted or didn't really care what answers you gave. The process of first interviews was very long, it lasted about 1 1/2 hours.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Store Manager
I applied online and then got a call from a store manager. We set up the first interview, and I spoke with her for about an hour. After I left, I had to call a number to take a personality test. The next day, I got a call saying I needed to take a drug test and fill out paperwork for a background check. The following week, HR called me for a phone interview that lasted an hour. Then I had a face-to-face interview with the district manager, which went well. I'm just waiting now for salary approval.
