Account Manager
the interview process was great, smooth, and without any issues. I'm very happy with it. The managers were very good and the HR was very nice. Thank you for the interview, it was great.
- What are your strengths?
Account Manager
It was a quick interview process before COVID, kind of like speed dating. I was placed in a separate area of a room where other interviews were happening. My previous B2C experience helped me connect with both interviewing managers right away.
- Can you describe your general sales knowledge?
- How do you handle objections?
Account Manager
Got a call back for a phone interview about 3-4 business days after applying, which had really basic questions. About a week after that, I had a second interview with two people. This one had standard sales questions. It's really important to know Ritchie Bros.' sales approach before you interview. They told me more than once that the company cares more about making money than building customer relationships. For example, they asked me several times, in different ways, if I was okay with selling customers things they didn't need. Since my values didn't match theirs, I decided not to move forward with the application. Just wanted to give a heads-up.
- What are the top 3 qualities of a good salesperson?
